Branch management
Veterinary branch management: branch access, referrals, stock transfers and branch reports
Your branches run under one clinic account. Staff pick only the branch they are allowed to work in, appointments, stock and cash become that branch's records, and management compares branches with the same reports.

Pick a branch and the scope changes; referrals and stock transfers follow in the same account

Steps
- 1A branch is selectedStaff pick the branch they will work in. Only branches they have access to appear in the list.
- 2The scope changesAppointment, stock and cash screens show the selected branch's data. Another branch's activity does not distort this branch's numbers.
- 3The referral is acceptedA branch-to-branch referral record moves through Created, Accepted, In progress and Completed. A rejected or cancelled referral is a separate status.
- 4Stock transferA multi-line warehouse transfer is sent with lot and expiry date. Sending the same transfer twice deducts stock once.
- 5Branch reportThe branch summary report puts both branches side by side; the stock movement is recorded per branch.
Sample data: branch names, products and amounts are fictional.

- 1
You define the branch
Branch name, address and contact details are entered in settings. A new branch needs no new setup.
- 2
You mark the access
The per-user branch access panel shows who works where.
- 3
Staff select their branch
The selected branch becomes the context of that session's appointments, patient intake, stock and cash records.
Decide which staff work in which branch, in one table
For each user you mark the branches they may work in. A locum vet can be assigned to another branch for a while, and you remove access whenever you like. A branch without access never shows its data to that user.

What branch management covers
The capabilities below work in the live product.

Branch access per user
The branch access panel shows in one table which staff member may work in which branch.

Warehouse transfers between branches
A multi-line transfer moves from the sending branch to the receiving branch with lot and expiry date.

Referral records
A patient referral is recorded with the referring branch, receiving branch and status: Created, Accepted, In progress, Completed, Rejected or Cancelled.
- Branch definition and company profile
- Company details are entered once; branches are opened, edited and deactivated under it.
- Screens that work in branch context
- Appointment, patient intake, stock and cash transactions are kept as records of the branch the staff member selected.
- Switching branches with one account
- The mobile clinic app has a branch selector, so one account moves between branches. The mobile app is in beta.
- The branch boundary is kept
- A branch the user has no access to never shows its data; branch isolation is covered on the security page.

Head office measures branches with the same reports
Revenue, visit and stock reports filter by branch. The owner and branch summary report puts branches side by side, and cash, appointments and stock are tracked per branch too.
Paperless stock transfers
Product movement between branches is recorded, so you can see later which lot went where.
Comparable numbers
Branches are measured with the same reports; nobody merges spreadsheets by hand at month end.
One customer and patient record
Customer and patient records are kept across the clinic account; an owner who visits another branch does not need a new record.

Features used together
Inventory management
Product, lot and expiry tracking works with each branch's warehouse.
Purchasing and warehouse
Deliveries go into the warehouse of the branch that placed the order.
Reporting
The branch summary and owner reports are part of the report list.
Security and data isolation
Explains how branch and clinic boundaries are protected.
Staff management
Staff branch access, shifts and commissions are managed per branch.
